At Dirt Happens, we strive to provide a spotless experience every time. Your satisfaction means everything to us — and while we rarely get it wrong, we know that sometimes things happen. Here’s how we handle refunds and cleaning concerns:

1. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you’re not completely happy with your clean, please let us know within 24 hours of the service. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue promptly — which may include a free re-clean of the affected areas.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

• A confirmed booking was paid for, but the cleaner did not attend.

• You cancelled with appropriate notice (at least 24 hours) and payment was taken in error.

• A re-clean was offered but not delivered within a reasonable time.

Please note: Refunds are not guaranteed and are handled on a case-by-case basis.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

We do not offer refunds in the following cases:

• Cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice.

• Missed appointments due to no access to the property.

• Partial dissatisfaction where a re-clean was declined.

• Services not included in the original booking (e.g. unbooked extras).

4. How to Request a Refund

If you believe you’re eligible for a refund:

1. Contact us within 24 hours of your service.

2. Provide your booking reference, details of the issue, and any relevant photos if applicable.

3. Our team will respond within 1–2 working days.

5. Processing Time

If approved, refunds are processed within 5–7 working days to the original payment method. You’ll receive confirmation once issued.
